Majilis ratified agr't on uniform principles and rules of technical regulation in CU states

ASTANA. May 11. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament approved a draft law "On ratification of the agreement on uniform principles and rules of technical regulation in Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia" at its Wednesday plenary sitting.
"The agreement aims to harmonize technical regulations of the participating countries of the Customs Union, eliminate technical barriers to trade and gives the Customs Union Commission the authority to: approve plans of development of technical regulations; adopt technical regulations; adopt the lists and standards related to technical regulations," First Deputy Minister of Industry and New Technologies of Kazakhstan Albert Rau said introducing the bill.
