Majilis discusses anticorruption legislation

ASTANA. May 19. KAZINFORM. Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan ?On regulatory legal acts? on the issues of holding of anticorruption expertise have been discussed in the Majilis Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security; Kazinform refers to the Houses? press service.
The draft law was developed to realize the Action Plan on implementation of the President?s tasks set at the Anti Corruption Forum on November 6, 2008. The document envisages establishment of the institute of manadatory scientific anticorruption expertise of draft legal acts.
The Parliament deputies also discussed the amendments to the Kazakhstan Code on Administrative Violations and a number of legal acts on the issues of notariat.
