Majilis approves draft law on housing provision for Olympics champions and medalists

As noted by the deputy Mira Aysina, who presented the bill, during the law's preparation for the second reading it was amended to stimulate disabled athletes to achieve good results. In particular, it was proposed to include in the list of persons, entitled to receive lifetime monthly allowance, disabled athletes who have become champions and winners of the Paralympic and Deaf Olympic Games and their coaches, as well as equating them to Olympic champions and medalists in the right to shelter. The main purpose of the bill is to improve the legislation in the field of physical culture and sports. The bill has being submitted to the Senate.
