Majilis approves bill 'On space activities'

Majilis deputies made a number of amendments to the bill relating to the competence of the Government and the authorized body in space activities, space infrastructure, space communications and broadcasting, data transmission, remote sensing for use in industry, agriculture, transport and communications.

The document is aimed at developing national space industry, ensuring the safety of space activities, creating and using own ground infrastructure and developing information technology space.

The bill is planned to be submitted for consideration of the Upper House.
