Majilis approves bill "On mediation"

The bill's positions define a concept of mediation; establish its basic principles, sphere of application, mediation guarantee, legal status of mediators, requirements for mediators and etc. the Majilismen made some amendments to the draft Law.

The corresponding draft Law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on mediation" was also approved at the session.

Mediation is a form of alternative resolution of a conflict with participation of a third neutral party in this conflict. A mediator assists the parties to develop some agreement on the dispute.
