Majilis approves amendments to Customs Code

ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Kazakh Majilis has approved the draft Law ?On amendments to the Customs Code in the connection with Kazakhstan?s accession to the World Trade Organization?; Kazinform reports.
As Minister of Finance Bolat Zhamishev noted, the draft Law is aimed at bringing the national customs legislation in accordance with the main agreements of the WTO and withdrawal of remarks made by the American side within the framework of the negotiations on Kazakhstan?s accession to the WTO.
