Majilis approves 129 bills

ASTANA. June 18. KAZINFORM. /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The Public Chamber under the Majilis of Kazakhstan?s Parliament has reviewed the draft law of protection of consumers today in Astana. Chairman of the House Ural Mukhamedzhanov informed of the intermediate results of the law-making activity.

?In whole during the current Majilis session 133 draft laws have been submitted for consideration. One of them was initiated by the President of Kazakhstan, 124 ? by the Government and 8 ? by the Parliament deputies?, the Speaker said. During the last years within the session the Majilis has reviewed about 100 bills. At the current session 129 draft laws were approved and submitted to the Senate. ?This current session is not over yet, and the number of bills can increase?, he said. Among the most important documents are the laws on the People?s Assembly of Kazakhstan, on republican budget, on competition.
