Majilis approved ratification of Kazakh-Russian agr't on cooperation in outer space exploration

ASTANA. December 22. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Draft law "On ratification of the agreement between the governments of Kazakhstan and Russia on cooperation in the field of exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes" has been approved by the Majilis of the Kazakh Parliament today.
"The agreement was signed on March 22, 2008. It creates legal and organizational basis for mutually beneficial cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes", Deputy Chairman of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan Meirbek Moldabekov said.
He noted that the ratification allows to use customs preferences when importing goods from countries - non members of the Customs Union.
