Majilis approved ratification of 8th Additional Protocol to Constitution of Universal Postal Union

ASTANA. February 23. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The draft Law "On ratification of the Eighth Additional Protocol to the Constitution of the Universal Postal Union" was approved at the plenary session of the Majilis.
Minister of Communications and Information Askar Zhumagaliyev presenting the bill said that the Protocol was signed in Geneva on August 12, 2008 at the 24th Congress of the Universal Postal Union.
According to the Protocol, the participating states whose designated operators serve the territories not included in the Postal Union must be intermediaries for other parties.
