Magnitude-6.0 quake hits Kermadec Islands -- Hong Kong Observatory

HONG KONG. July 7. KAZINFORM Hong Kong Observatory said an earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale hit the Kermadec Islands region on Thursday. Kazinform refers to Xinhua.
The quake, occurred at 17:11 Hong Kong time (0911 GMT), was centered at 29.1 degrees south latitude and 176.2 degrees west longitude. Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.xinhuanet.com
