LVMH museum set to be opened in Paris

PARIS. KAZINFORM - Bernard Arnault, the chairman of the French luxury group LVMH Louis Vuitton-Moët Hennessy is set to open the Louis Vuitton Foundation for Creation museum in Paris this autumn, according to the French mass media.
The inaugural ceremony of the $143 million-museum is scheduled for October 27. Designed by Canadian-born architect Frank Gehry, the museum will encourage and promote young artists and emerging scenes. Construction of the unprecedented project started in 2006 in Bois de Boulogne, a large public park in Paris. The building itself resembles a glass cloud drifting over treetops in the park.
