LUKOIL’s helicopter crashes in Volgograd region
VOLGOGRAD. July 22. KAZINFORM A helicopter owned by Russia's oil company LUKOIL crashed in the Kotovsky district, Volgograd region, the Emergencies Ministry's regional department told Itar-Tass on Wednesday, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
The helicopter crashed near the village of Moiseevo, 25 kilometers of Kotovo. The fire broke out at the site of the crash.
There were eight people onboard - three crewmembers and five specialists of LUKOIL, who flew from Volgograd to Kotovo.
"The helicopter disappeared from radars at 10:17 Moscow time and, according to preliminary information, crashed near the village of Moiseevo," the source said.
