LUKOIL interested in coop with Total in Columbia, Kazakhstan

ASTANA. September 7. KAZINFORM. The largest Russian private oil company LUKOIL is interested in implementing joint projects with France's Total in Columbia and Kazakhstan. Head of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov said Sunday.
"We are interested in work with Total, we are neighbors in terms of blocks in Colombia; talks on information exchange or joining efforts on the blocks are being held," Vagit Alekperov said.
Mr. Alekperov also noted that the companies cooperate in development of Shah Deniz field in Azerbaijan. According to him, Total is interested in the Kazakhstan's part of Khvalynskoye deposit developed jointly with LUKOIL. Yet LUKOIL is no going to sell its stake in this project.
