Living wage in Astana increased by 6.4%
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The average living wage in the capital amounts to 21 760 tenge, which is 6.4% higher than in the past month, and 6.8% higher in comparison with the similar period of the past year, this information was given to astana.kz by the Department of Statistics of Astana city.
According to the agency, the most expenses are for purchase of fish and meat; about 15% from the living wage are spent for purchase of dairy, fat and oil products, and eggs, as well as fruit and vegetables; 7.3% are for bread and cereal products; and almost 2% - for tea and species.
Regarding prices for food commodities, this month they've increased by 1.5% on the average, nonfood commodities have got more expensive by 1%, and paid services - by 0.3%.
The most notable is price increase for fruit and vegetables amounting to 7.3%; and the cost of sugar has reduced by almost 2%. Recreation, entertainment and culture have become more expensive in the capital by 0.5%, and tariffs for railway transportations have risen in price by 0.4%.
