Little boy dies under the wheels of hit-and-run car in Almaty region

TALDYKORGAN. June 20. KAZINFORM The accident involving a little boy happened around 18:00p.m. on Shelek-Sarybulak highway in Almaty region on June 19, Kazinform has learnt.
The six-year-old boy was struck by a hit-and-run driver as he walked down the road. The driver did not stop to investigate and took off leaving the victim on the road.
The child was seriously injured and passed away on the way to a hospital without regaining consciousness. The hit-and-run driver was later detained by police. An investigation has been initiated.
