Lithuania is ready to help Kazakhstan hold important position in the region, President Dalia Grybauskaitė

"We are confident that your official visit to Astana will undoubtedly give an impetus to further advance of mutual benefit cooperation and raise bilateral relations to a brand new level," Mukhamedzhanov told during the meeting.

"Lithuania is an important political and economic partner of Kazakhstan in the Baltic region. Kazakhstan and Lithuania maintain regular high-level dialogues to contribute to strengthening of constructive relations and mutual benefit cooperation in various areas," he added.

In her turn, Dalia Grybauskaitė highlighted that unique position of Kazakhstan neighboring with major powers makes unique the country's position in the world arena. "And Lithuania intends to help Kazakhstan to hold an important position in the region," the President of Lithuania said.
