Lithuania considers Kazakhstan as most successful Central Asian state - FM A. Ronis
ASTANA. May 31. KAZINFORM Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Lithuania Galymzhan Koishybayev held a meeting with newly-appointed Lithuanian Foreign Minister Aivis Ronis in Riga on May 27; the Kazakh MFA's press service told Kazinform.
The Kazakh diplomat familiarized Mr. Ronis with the initiatives of Kazakhstan as the OSCE Chair. He paid special attention to the initiative on convocation of the OSCE Summit and preparation for the informal meeting of the member states' foreign ministers planned for this summer in Almaty.
The Lithuanian Minister congratulated Kazakhstan on the successful progress of its presidency in the OSCE and wished success in implementation of further initiatives. He appraised the dynamics of the bilateral relations and noted that Lithuania considered Kazakhstan as the most successful state in Central Asia.
