Line park to be built in Astana
ASTANA. December 13. KAZINFORM - A line park is to be constructed in Astana in 2014-2016 years. This has been announced to astana.kz today at the session of Astana city maslikhat.
It's viable to create line parks along reservoirs and streamflows for hiking, cycling (skiing in winter), riding a horse, jogging. The peculiarity of line parks is that they are not wide (from 50 to 100-200 meters) and long (from several kilometers to dozens of kilometers).
“In order to provide venues for cultural recreation for the population of the capital, near the unique complex “Abu Dhabi Plaza” and a venue for the international exhibition “EXPO-2017” a line park is to be constructed”, - the head of the metropolitan Administration of economy and budget planning Zhanat Nurpiisov noted in this speech. It’s worth noting that the area of the expected park will amount to 11.3373 ha with a green area of 75.5 thousand sqm.
“In addition, park construction along Esil river is to be completed in 2014-2016, and reconstruction of the city park is to be continued”, - Zh. Nurpiisov told astana.kz.
