Level of teachers' training to be estimated by centralized testing - Tuimebayev
ANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The level of teachers' training is to be estimated by a centralized testing. Minister of Education and Science Zhanseit Tuimebayev has announced it at the conference on discussion of the draft State Program of Education Development for 2011-2020 today.
"There will be introduced an independent external evaluation of the level of training of specialists, teachers, including by the centralized testing", Z.Tuimebayev said.
According to him, within the framework of the Program there will be strengthened qualifying requirements of teaching workers on evaluation for the highest category obtainment.
The Minister informed that the Program provides increase of an average salary of teachers to the level of an average wage in economy. Minister Tuimebayev emphasized that teachers of the highest category will receive a salary higher than a nationwide average one.
According to the Minister, to accomplish these goals there is necessary KZT 118 bln of additional expenses per year.
