Legislative amendments on support of renewable energy sources approved by Kazakh Senate

ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM The Kazakh Senate has approved in the first reading the draft law "On amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan concerning support of renewable energy sources' usage."
Minister of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan Nurlan Kapparov noted the bill was developed in order to implement the state policy in the sphere of renewable energy sources.
According to him, the amendments will guarantee repayment to investors and will allow to increase rates from renewable energy sources' facilities and to realize large projects.
