Lebanese PM expresses his intention to strengthen relations with Kazakhstan

ABU DHABI. KAZINFORM - Kazakh Ambassador Bulat Sarsenbayev paid a working visit to Lebanon.

During the visit, the Kazakh diplomat was received by Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam. Lebanese politician, who represents the Sunni community of the Arab Republic, was elected Prime Minister in April 2013 following the resignation of Najib Mikati. In this connection, B.Sarsenbayev congratulated him on the successful formation of a new government, breaking an eleven months political deadlock. However, the Kazakh Ambassador informed about the dynamic development of Kazakhstan in all areas, the success of our country in the international arena as well as the President's message to people of Kazakhstan «Kazakhstan's way 2050: common goal, common interests, common future". T.Salam was handed the Prime Minister's letter inviting him to take part in the VII Astana Economic Forum. In turn T.Salam praised the high level of the Kazakh-Lebanese relations realized through the efforts of the leaders of the two countries. Lebanese politician showed deep interest about the International Exhibition "Expo -2017", scheduled to be held in Astana.
