Leaders of int'l branches of CIS General Prosecutor's Offices assembled in Astana
ASTANA. June 7. KAZINFORM A meeting of leaders of international branches of the CIS General Prosecutor's Offices has been held under the auspices of Secretary of Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS states today in Astana.
Representatives of supreme regulatory agencies of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan and Ukraine took part in the meeting.
The sides exchanged their views on key issues of interdepartmental interaction: an implementation of interstate programs of joint efforts on criminal fighting, control of terrorism and extremism, drug trafficking, illegal migration counterwork, extradition and inter-court assistance on criminal cases.
In addition, bilateral meeting between Kazahkstan's General Prosecutor Askhat Daulbayev and First Deputy General Prosecutor of Modlova Andrey Pyntya and executive Secretary of the Coordinating Council of Prosecutors General of the CIS states Leonid Yermolayev was held to debate perspectives of further cooperating.
The sides confirmed their readiness to marshal efforts for further interaction expanding in order to maintain regional and international security.
