Latvian President to unveil a memorial in Karaganda
ASTANA. May 27. KAZINFORM President of Latvia Andris Berzins will have an official visit to Kazakhstan on July 2-4 on the invitation of the Kazakh Leader.
"During the visit Latvian President is expected to attend opening ceremony of the monument to the victims of political repressions, citizens of Latvia in Spassk village of Karaganda region," Altai Abibullayev, official representative of the Central Communications Service under the Kazakh President informed at the briefing.
On July 3, Andris Berzins will meet with the Kazakhstan's President in private and expanded format.
"Latvian President will be accompanied by a large delegation of business representatives. Business forums with the participation of businessmen of two countries will be conducted on July 3-4 in Astana and Almaty. We hope that the official visit of the President of Latvia will give additional impetus to further strengthen Kazakh-Latvian political and economic cooperation," A. Abibullaev concluded.
