Latvia's PM resigns over collapse of supermarket roof disaster: media

BRUSSELS, November 27. KAZINFORM - Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis resigns over the collapse of a supermarket roof last week that killed over 50 people in the capital city Riga, media reports quoted the PM's spokesman as saying on Wednesday.
The premier will have a news conference later in the afternoon on this issue, said the spokesman. The government "takes political responsibility for the tragedy", media quoted the spokesman as saying.
