Last respects for poetess Fariza Ongarsynova to be paid on January 27 in “Korme” center
ASTANA. January 24. KAZINFORM - Farewell ceremony will take place in Astana on Monday, January 27, at 10.00 in the exposition center "Korme" to pay last respects for poetess, people's writer, and outstanding public figure Fariza Ongarsynova.
Fariza Ongarsynova was born on December 25, 1939, in Manash village, astana.kz reports. She was the author of the number of poetic books and publications, people's writer of the Republic of Kazakhstan, laureate of the State premium of Kazakhstan. She was rewarded with "Dostyk" order. She graduated from a philology faculty of Pedagogy Institute. She worked as a teacher, school director, correspondent and newspaper and magazine editor.
In her works the poetess encouraged to love and respect the nation, its traditions and culture. Not many poets can combine such origins as open civic consciousness and penetrating lyricism, purity and nobility of human relations, and tragedy of unrequited love, lines about sacred friendship and wise thought about the poet's craft. The poetess Fariza Ongarsynova managed to do this.
Her first poetic book "Nightingale" was published in 1967. Since then the publishing house "Zhazushy" published several poetic collections: "Melody" (1970), "Restless time" (1972), "Proud generation" (1973), "My doves" (1974), "Impetuous stream bed" (1975); omnibus of selected poems "Heat" (1978). Poetry collections of the poetess in Russian language were published in "Zhalyn" publishing house - "Tenderness" (1977) and "Game bird" (1988), and in Moscow publishing house "Molodaya Gvardiya" - poetry collections "Alarms" (1979), "Waiting for the sun" (1985), and in "Sovetsky pisatel" publishing house - "Afflation" (1980). In addition, she was the author of belles essays "Altitude" and a documentary story "Kamshat". Also F. Ongarsynova translated into Kazakh children's stories by Moldavian writer S. Vangheli "Guguţă's adventures", "Grandfather's minister", poens by S. Kaputikyan, E. Evtushenko, R. Kazakova, and a book by Chilean poet P. Neruda "Four seasons".
