KZT 60.7 bln invested in housing and utilities infrastructure within Road Map last year
ASTANA. January 25. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "KZT 60.7 bln was disbursed in Kazakhstan within the Road Map on development and modernization of housing and utilities infrastructure in 2009. Chairman of the Kazakh Agency on Construction and Housing and Utilities Infrastructure Serik Nokin has said it today at the Governmental Hour in the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament).
"248 km of heat pipelines, 737 km of electrical lines, 284 km of gas transmission networks, 1,029 km of water supply networks and 172 km of water removal networks were constructed and repaired during last year in the field of housing and utilities infrastructure", S.Nokin said.
He stressed that 99% of funds allocated within the program in 2009 were disbursed. Over 81,000 jobs were created.
