KZT 29.4 bln spent for anti-recession activities in Almaty

ALMATY. June 17. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ 80 projects are to be implemented under the Antirecessionary program in Almaty city. KZT 95.4 bln was allocated from the national budget for financing infrastructural projects in 2009; Kazinform refers to the press-service of Akimat.

The program is aimed at creation of 14 894 jobs and tax payments amounted to KZT 11 588 mln. In addition the implementation of infrastructural projects provides recruitment of local specialists as well as maximal use of domestic raw materials and equipment. As of June 1, 2009 65 projects were planned to be implemented form which 12 projects have been already implemented. Since the beginning of the program implementation KZT 29.4 bln allocated from the national and local budget has been spent, and 8 135 people found job. 909 home owners received apartments in 4 housing complexes. Almaty Antirecessionary program for 2009-2010 aimed at support of economic stability through implementation of infrastructural projects, addressing the issues on real estate market, support of small and medium business, industrial and innovative development and social protection of the population was approved by the decree of Almaty akimat.
