Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan ink final protocol on border delimitation

Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan inked the final protocol on border delimitation on Friday, Kabar reports.

Today (February 21) we signed the final protocol on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. A number of documents were prepared - this is the Treaty on the state border and the Agreements between the governments on energy facilities and water resources. Also, the Agreement on the use of cross roads and the construction of new roads, Tashiev said.

Negotiations of the government delegation on the delimitation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border were held in Bishkek on Friday. The delegation of Tajikistan was headed by the head of the State Committee for National Security Saimumin Yatimov.

As earlier reported, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev is to pay his first official visit as Kyrgyz Prime Minister to Kazakhstan on February 24-25, 2025.
