Kyrgyzstan's accession to Customs Union discussed at international conference

MINSK. April 3. KAZINFORM Prospects of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Customs Union have been discussed at the international conference "Kyrgyzstan on the way to Eurasian integration". Taking part in the conference was Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Kyrgyzstan Viktor Denisenko, the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry informed.

The conference was organized by the association Kyrgyz-Russian Economic Council under the auspices of President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev. The participants of the conference discussed prospects and aspects of Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Customs Union, Kazinform refers to BelTA.

Viktor Denisenko informed the attendees about Belarus' socio-economic performance in 2012, foreign trade with the Customs Union member states and bilateral trade and economic relations with Kyrgyzstan. The diplomat explained how Belarus benefits from its participation in the Customs Union.

Attending the conference were Kyrgyz businessmen, member of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Tatyana Valovaya, government officials of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Russia.
