Kyrgyzstan plans to open 113 industrial enterprises by 2026
According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, the country plans to launch 113 industrial enterprises under the project, creating nearly 11,741 new jobs nationwide.
Officials say the initiative is designed to boost Kyrgyzstan’s industrial sector, attract investment, increase exports, and support economic activity across different regions of the country. Authorities are also working to improve conditions for investors and introduce modern technologies into production processes.
Sanirabiga Moldogazieva, a leading specialist in the ministry’s industrial sector analysis department, said the largest share of projects will focus on the construction materials industry, with 43 enterprises expected to open in that sector alone.
She added that the program also includes 16 enterprises in food processing, seven projects in light industry, one enterprise each in mechanical engineering and pharmaceutical production, as well as additional projects in other sectors.
Regionally, the government plans to implement six projects in Talas region, 19 in Osh region, 7 in Naryn region, and 10 in Issyk-Kul region.
