Kyrgyzstan discusses cooperation with major British companies and banks
As part of the visit to the UK, the Kyrgyz delegation held meetings with representatives of leading financial institutions - Oppenheimer Europe, Citi Group, Societe Generale and ICBC Standard Bank, Kabar reports.
According to the information of the Ministry of Economy, the main focus was on the prospects of joint projects and the expansion of investment cooperation.
The delegation included Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Nazarbek Malayev.
Kyrgyzstan continues to work to attract strategic partners and strengthen international economic ties, the report said.
Earlier it was reported, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is to offer 74.8 million US dollars of grant funding and 147.2 million US dollars of preferential loans to finance investment projects and programs in Kyrgyzstan.
