Kyrgyz President backs Kazakhstan’s initiative to create Central-Asian Union

Talking about Kyrgyzstan's perspectives at the international arena the newly elected President noted that the basic ideological platform of the country will not be changed on this issue - achievement of security through dialogue, mutual understanding, cooperation and partnership. This is precisely why Kyrgyzstan takes an active part in all possible international organizations and unions.

K. Bakiyev noted that Kyrgyzstan is developing bilateral economic, cultural and information cooperation with Russia as main historic and strategic partner including the USA, China, Turkey, Japan and Saudi Arabia.

"We build our relations with our neighbors with all possible means based on mutual respect and abidance by national interests. Moreover, as I mentioned earlier, we must strongly support the initiative on creation of the Central-Asian Union", - the Kyrgyz President said.
