Kyrgyz national security agency officers detained for participation in journalist murder
BISHKEK. KAZINFORM - Two officers of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan suspected of journalist Gennady Pavlyuk's murder which took place in Almaty were detained, Kyrgyz General Prosecutor's press service reports.
The General Prosecutor's Office of Kyrgyzstan received the criminal case materials against officers of the State National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan. The two were detained and brought to the pre-trial detention facility of the State National Security Committee. It bears to remind that journalist Gennady Pavlyuk was thrown from a sixth floor window in Almaty. Almaty interdistrict court verdict as of October 10, 2011 on the murder of G.Pavlyuk convicted a former employee of the National Security Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic A. Ismankulov as well as the citizens of Kazakhstan A.Igilikov and Sh.Orozalin.
