Kyrgyz delegation to partake in Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum
ASTANA. January 15. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Beibit Issabayev has had a meeting with Chairman of Zhogorku Kenesh Zainidin Kurmanov. The Diplomat extended an invitation of the Kazakh Senate Speaker Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev to the Kyrgyz side to take part in a Trans-Asian Parliamentary Forum entitled Eurasian dimension of the OSCE scheduled for spring 2010, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Foreign Office.
In turn, Z. Kurmanov expressed gratitude for the invitation and said a delegation of the Zhogorku Kenesh would participate in the event.
The Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament congratulated Kazakhstan on assuming the office of the OSCE chairman and wished our country success on this post.
The parties also focused the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres. Constructive exchange of views on activation of the work of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Interparliamentary Commission and strengthening ties between deputy groups of friendship took place.
The parties expressed confidence that both countries' brother relations would be developed for the good of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz nations.
