ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Zarina Diyas became the first Kazakhstan's casualty at the 2014 French Open in Paris, Sports.kz web portal says.
World No.5 and 2011 Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitova needed over an hour to defeat the Kazakh opponent in straight sets 7:5, 6:2. In the second round match Kvitova will face Croatian-born Marina Erakovic from New Zealand.
