Kurchatov Atomic power station project postponed ? Energy Minister

SEMEY. May 27. KAZINFORM /Lyudmila Malko/ During the working visit to Kurchatov town Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Sauat Mynbayev said that that the atomic power station construction in Kurchatov is going to be postponed; Kazinform reports.
The construction is postponed till 2013-2015, the reason being instability of the world financial situation. The Minister got acquainted with other projects implementation in the Nuclear Technology Park.
Having surveyed the operations of the thermal power station in Semey, Sauat Mynbayev noted that thermal power plants of the city will be enlarged.
