KTG Aimak to build gas pipeline branches from the Beineu-Shymkent mainline in Kyzylorda
ASTANA -KYZYLORDA . December 12. KAZINFORM - Today, Kyzylorda region and KazTransGas Aimak signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation, according to the press service of Kyzylorda governorate.
Under the memorandum, KazTransGas Aimak commits to build gas pipeline branches from the main gas pipeline Beineu-Shymkent, install an automated gas distribution station (AGDS) and gasify the following populated points in Kyzylorda region: the towns of Aralsk and Baikonur, settlements of Aiteke, Zhaksykylysh, Saksaulsk, to build in 2014 gas pipelines to Kyzylorda's residential buildings located in the streets without distribution networks, to build either Aryskum-Zhosaly or Aryskum-Akshabulak pipeline by making junction points in Beineu- Shymkent mainline; assist in improving social conditions of the population through financing social projects in Kyzylorda region.
Today, AGDS -2 was opened. At a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Kyzylorda governor Krymbek Kusherbayev and KazTransGas Aimak CEO congratulated the attendees on the opening of Kyzylorda AGDS, which will provide natural gas to the region.
