Kostanay oblast to implement 16 investment projects by yearend

KOSTANAY. April 4. KAZINFORM /Pyotr Plakhotnikov/ 16 investment projects to the amount of KZT 11.4 bln are planned to be implemented in Kostanay oblast in 2009, Zhenis Nurgaliyev, Deputy Akim of the region, says.
Speaking on the current work on industrial-innovative development, Z. Nurgaliyev noted that the ?list of the investment projects for 2009-2015 include 58 projects worth KZT 453.6 bln which will allow to provide 9 000 working places?.
Among the priority projects are putting into operation of the 6th energy block of JSC SSGPO Thermal Power Station and a rolling plant and construction of a cement plant.
