Korean Theater of Musical Comedy's performance dedicated to the Day of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was a success in Taraz

"Our theatrical performance "In the steppes of Semirechye, in Alatau mountains" is dedicated to the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan and includes both national Korean motives and Kazakh songs, - says the theater's director, Lubov Nee. - The Head of State is the author of the formula of social cohesion and under his leadership the people of Kazakhstan has been successfully implementing the unique model of interethnic and interreligious harmony. A striking example of this policy is successful creative life of the State Korean Theater in Kazakhstan, the only professional Korean theater in the world outside Korea."

The performance was produced by the Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, chief director of the State Republican Korean Musical Comedy Theater, Oleg Lee.

The performance is staged by a ballet company dancing "Sambuk", folklore group "Samulnori", quartet "Premium" (winner of the International Radiofestival "Dala dauysy 2012").

Korean theater's touring of Kazakhstan's cities is sponsored by the Taraz branch of the Association of Koreans in Kazakhstan.
