Korean Lee Chae Won wins 'gold' at women's ski race, Kazakhstani Nikolay Chebotko took 'bronze'

ALMATY. February 2. KAZINFORM The women's 10 kilometre freestyle cross-country skiing competition was held today. Our athletes Elena Kolomina and Svetlana Malakhova-Shishkina finished 5th and 6th respectively. The competition was held within the 7th Asian Games-2011.
Lee Chae Won from Korea finished with the best time of 36:34:6. Japanese Ishida Masako was the second. She trailed 1,3 seconds. Kobashi Yuki from Japan became a bronze medal winner.
Japanese sportsmen fully dominated in the men's 15 kilometers race. K. Yoshida became a gold medal winner of the competition, his countryman came second. The bronze medal was deserved by Kazakhstani Nikolay Chebotko which required tremendous efforts from him.
