KMG, SOCAR, Tatneft, Uzbekneftegaz enhance cooperation in digitalization and industrial safety
Chairman of the Management Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas (KMG) Askhat Khasenov took part in an international conference on "Digitalization, Industrial Safety and Procurement in Energy Sector" in Baku, Kazinform News Agency learned from the company’s website.
The agenda included the issues concerning implementation of innovative technologies, industrial safety, enhancing mutually beneficial cooperation and ensuring sustainable development in oil and gas industry.
Addressing the participants, Askhat Khassenov said that KazMunayGas continues broadening cooperation with its key partners - SOCAR, Tatneft and Uzbekneftegaz - in exchange of technologies and experience in geological exploration and hydrocarbons production.
“Together with our partners, we are implementing digital systems for process management, intelligent monitoring systems and predictive analytics, which significantly improves operational efficiency and safety at all stages of hydrocarbons production and processing. Besides, the company actively works on minimizing environmental risks. Our efforts are aimed at introducing innovative solutions in the industry,” Khasenov emphasized.
He told the attendees about joint work carried out in creation of effective systems of prevention and elimination of emergencies, and in training personnel to ensure prompt response in emergency situations.
On the sidelines of the conference, the representatives of SOCAR, KazMunayGas, Tatneft and Uzbekneftegaz signed quadripartite memorandums of cooperation in digital technologies and industrial safety. The documents provide for exchange of experience in development and implementation of digital solutions, as well as prevention and relieving the consequences of manmade emergencies.
Earlier, it was reported that in 2025, Kazakhstan plans to produce 96.2 million tons of oil and gas condensate.
