Klyuchevskoi volcano wells out lava

PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKI. July 9. KAZINFORM Klyuchevskoi volcano in Kamchatka welled out lava from a crack overnight, but no threat to people was reported, Kazinform refers to Itar-Tass.
Kamchatka branch of the Russian Geophysical Service reported an anomaly as temperature near the crater was plus 65 degrees Centigrade while background temperature was minus 2 degrees. It said up to 400 seismic events occur in the volcano every day.
Klyuchevskoi is currently throwing steam and gas up to 800 meters high, Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com
