Klitschko brothers visited the Kazakh village - place of childhood
TARAZ. October 28. KAZINFORM - Private visit of the Klitschko brothers to the Kazakh village has caused a stir among the local population, said in an interview with the correspondent of Kazinform the Head of the regional department of physical culture and sports Gamlet Kainarbekov.
"On the eve the Ukrainian athletes were guests of honor at the final of the world championship bouts in boxing in Almaty, and from them there was an urgent request to visit their native village, but to remain unnoticed by the general public, to the press, with no photo shoots and the like", said Mr. Kainarbekov. "They arrived in Taraz by a charter flight and intended to privately visit their native village called Lugovoye (now named Kulan in Ryskulov area). At the airport the Klitschko brothers were met by the akim Kanat Bozumbayev, representatives of sport department. There was not much time, the Klitschko brothers managed to quickly view the site of not completed construction of the Palace of Sports "Taraz -Arena", and then went to their native village".
The Klitschko family lived in the village at the end of the 70-ies of the last century. Their father, a military builder, worked at the construction of some facilities in Lugovskoy area. And their mother was a teacher at the elementary school. And that school was attended by the brothers.
The current occupants of the apartment were given some presents on the name of the brothers.
As the head of the sports department says, famous guests gladly talked to the villagers, there were even their teachers and classmates among them. They are very intelligent, educated, smart, simple and affordable. They talked about their native place in touching words.
At the end of a private visit the Klitschko brothers thanked the management of Zhambyl region and the head of the region Kanat Bozumbayev for the warm welcome.
