Khorgos Vice-President Shin sued for corruption
ASTANA. June 20. KAZINFORM - Main Transport Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan in the course of considering the application of "Samruk-Taraz" Foundation has revealed the evidence of corruption in the management of the International Center of Border Cooperation Khorgos ("ICBC "Khorgos"JSC), the press office informs.
In particular, as noted by the press-service, the tender commission of Khorgos failed to follow the procedure in the open tender for procurement of construction works on electricity distribution networks. The Commission has given undue preference to "Kazelektrosetstroy" LLP when preparing and making decisions, and apparently prevented "Samruk-Taraz" from implementation of its rights and legitimate interests.
"Upon the presentation of the main transport prosecutor's office Vice-President of Khorgos V.Shin, who was a chairman of the bidding commission, was brought to disciplinary responsibility for corruption ", says the press-service.
