KHL: HC Barys Astana sign newbie

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have signed a 16-year-old newcomer Nikita Medvedev, Kazinform has learnt from the KHL's official website.
Medvedev was selected the 81st overall in the second round of the 2014 KHL Entry Draft by the Astana-based Barys. The hockey player spent previous season with Kazzinc Torpedo-2 and scored 1 (0+1) points in 49 games.
