KHL: HC Barys Astana plunge in Eastern Conference again

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana have lost one spot in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.
It happened on Wednesday, when HC Traktor downed HC Ak Bars in shootout series and edged out Astana's Barys to the 6th berth in the East. Barys players played 57 matches and earned 84 points this season. HC Ak Bars top the East with 112 points after 57 games. Next time Barys will host HC Metallurg in Astana on February 20.
