KHL: Disastrous season continues for Barys

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - This season went from bad to worse for HC Barys Astana as the team suffered a 2:0 humiliating defeat on home ice Thursday night, Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Andrei Nazarov's side suffered their 8th consecutive loss this time from HC Avangard - something that has never happened before. Avangard's Alexander Perezhogin and Vladimir Sobotka scored in the second and third periods respectively. Barys players failed to score any goals. After 35 games Barys have 50 points and are ranked 6th in the East.
