KHL: CSKA Moscow signs young Kazakhstani hockey player

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Defenseman of HC Kazzinc Torpedo from Ust-Kamenogorsk Yuri Sergiyenko will continue his professional career in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Kazinform refers to Vesti.kz.
The 18-year-old Kazakhstani hockey player signed a contract with HC CSKA Moscow. As reported earlier, Sergiyenko was injured while training for the 2014 IIHF World Championship in Minsk. He was supposed to be included into the roster of Kazakhstan's national hockey team, but his injury prevented him from joining the Kazakh side.
