KHL: Barys tie the score vs. Avangard in play-off series

ASTANA-OMSK. KAZINFORM - HC Barys Astana defeated HC Avangard 2:0 in the second match of the first round of the 2014-2015 play-off series of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), Kazinform has learnt from Vesti.kz.
Dmitriy Upper of Barys opened the score in the sixth minute of the first stanza. In the 15th minute Fyodor Polishchuk gave the Astana-based club the 2:0 lead. The second and third periods of the match held in Omsk were uneventful. Thus, Andrei Nazarov's side tied the score the in the play-off series. The next two games between Barys and Avangard are scheduled to take place in Astana on March 3 and 4.
