KHL: Barys outplay Neftekhimik 5:4 in penalty shootout

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Astana-based HC Barys have won their third match in the on road series against Neftekhimik 5:4, Vesti.kz web portal reports.
The game held in Nizhnekamsk, Russia was pretty hectic with teams delivering pucks one after another. It is worth mentioning that the first two stanzas were dominated by the hosts. However, Barys managed to snatch the initiative and score two goals in the beginning of the third period. It is only in the shootout series Barys boys showed their mettle and outclassed Neftekhimik. Barys will play their next game vs. HC Sibir on home ice on October 10.
